Objectives:

Present an overview of the incidence of thyroid nodules versus clinically significant malignancies and the diagnostic and treatment challenges that promoted the development of thyroid nodule classification systems.
Explain the ACR TI-RADS thyroid nodule classification system, providing ultrasound examples of each imaging characteristic and nodule category.
Compare the ACR TI-RADS points-based classification approach to pattern-based classification systems, specifically K - TIRADS.
Outline the imaging zones of the cervical lymph nodes and review the ultrasound of benign and suspicious nodes.
