Objectives:

  • Describe the occurrence, signs, symptoms, and ultrasound characteristics of hepatoblastoma in both the perinatal and pediatric time periods.

  • Understand the diagnostic workup and classification systems for characterizing and grading hepatoblastoma.

  • Identify the prognosis and treatments for hepatoblastoma, as well as possible treatment classifications.

  • Identify the signs, symptoms, and ultrasound characteristics of testicular torsion.

  • Explain the mechanism of perinatal testicular torsion, how the mechanics differ from torsion later in life, and how these affect the current surgical practices for PTT.
